The atelier

An Indian atelier devoted to the strap.

NewEdge began with a simple conviction: the strap is the most personal part of a watch — the part that touches the skin, sets the tone and carries the whole composition. We make that part worthy of the watch.

Our story

From a workbench to a wardrobe.

What started as a single workbench, a few hides and an obsession with spring-bar tolerances has grown into an atelier producing straps for collectors across India and beyond. We still make them the same way: small batches, patient finishing, and no piece dispatched until it passes a hand inspection.

We design for the modern wrist — straps that pair as naturally with a steel sports chronograph as with a dress watch on leather. Nothing is branded on the outside; the craftsmanship is the signature.

What we stand for

Crafted without compromise.

Hand-finished, always

Every strap is cut, edge-painted and stitched by hand. Machines assist, but the final judgment belongs to a craftsman's eye.

Materials with provenance

Full-grain calfskin, vulcanised rubber, Alcantara and marine-grade steel — selected for how they age, not just how they photograph.

Fit above all

Lug widths, spring-bar tolerances and taper are checked twice before a strap leaves the atelier. A strap must disappear on the wrist.

The promise

A watch is only as distinguished as the strap that carries it.

Whether you are dressing a heirloom or a daily wearer, we will make a strap that honours it — in leather, rubber, Alcantara or steel.
